Trying to save a score

• Oct 23, 2020 - 10:15

I have a problem trying to save a score. It will not let me save any new score I attempt to do.
I have also paid the $49.00 to become a pro user so is there something I have to do which will then allow me to save scores.

Whether you are a pro user or not has got nothing to to do with whether you can save a score from within the MuseScore program, (on Windows, Mac, Linux).
Here on musescore.org pro or not does not make the slightest difference...

What happens when you try File > Save or File > Save as, what error messages do you get?

Which error message are you getting when trying to save your score?
Make sure you're saving to a folder where you have the rights to write files.

The notation software is entirely and completely free; it has no subscription model or payment fees at all. What you have payed for is part of the online score sharing platform musescore.com giving you (at this point in time) the ability to download copyright protected works and some advanced statics on your own scores in that platform.
See also https://musescore.org/en/faq#faq-20657 for a brief clarification between the two sites.
