A spell check for lyrics

Wondering also. Two possible issues I can think of-
Would the algorithm be confused by the use of dashes and underlines between syllables and words?
Would there be an issue with syllable separation between notes, given that separation for normal text is not always the same as separation for lyrics?
It would definitely be a help, though.

That’s a great question! Lyrics often play with language, but spelling and grammar still matter—especially when you’re sharing your work professionally or publishing online. While typical spell checkers may not fully understand the artistic flow of lyrics, tools like Trinka's grammar checker do a great job of identifying errors without disrupting your creative style. I’ve used it to fine-tune my own writing, and it works well even with unconventional sentence structures. Definitely worth trying if you're polishing your lyrics!
