Question on How Ticks are Interpreted via MIDI in Musescore
Hello all,
Does anyone know how ticks are calculated with Musescore? I have seen different things with MIDI ticks either being calculated either by Quarter Note or by Real-Time seconds. Can anyone clarify or point me in the right direction?

1/4th note = 480 ticks
The tick of a segment corresponds with it notated position on the score, as an offset from the start of the score. The utick corresponds with the real-time position, taking into account repeat logic

Ok, thank you for the response - I think I follow. Is there a difference between "tick" and "utick" or was that a clerical error?
