Popping when audio is played while Musescore is open
Hello all!
If I already have audio playing and open musescore, the speakers on my 16 in MacBook Pro make popping noises. It's only musescore that this happen in now on Big Sur, whereas before the popping issue extended to multiple apps. This used to be more prevalent in Musescore as well, but one of the programmers here was able to fix the original issue. I hope they will be able to do that once again now. The issue was on Catalina, but the popping on everything else was fixed after updating to Big Sur so I figured I'd ask here since it may be sortware side

A prominent Mac user had a similar problem a couple of years ago. He upgraded his Mac to one with more memory and I believe a more powerful CPU, which fixed the problem. My conclusion is that Big Sur manages the memory better and the popping doesn't happen because the delay is reduced during memory swaps that happen continually by programs.
