Let's say you have a large score, 20+ staves in a page maximum. And there's a page with 25 staves at a time and another with 10. You can usually find such cases in late 19th and 20th century scores (Wagner to... Ravel and Stravinsky) where engravers might be forced to make staves a tad smaller in order to fit everything, and then you have the pages with few staves at a time, that you might want to keep its staves' size a bit larger for clearer reading. You exploit the whole paper space like that apparently.

Right now, in Musescore, you can only have 1 specific stave size (I mean the distance between the 5 lines of a staff) for every page of a score. The point is that you might want to make the size smaller in SOME pages or there are pages that have "a lot of white space" because they staves in the pages are forced to have the same size as the size of the staves of the "heaviest" (the page with most staves and symbols and text) page.

For now I have one decent workaround. It's by using a special item yet again. Let's call it "Staves Size Adjuster". It will be applied in a page and it will affect all notation symbols or even expression texts, and of course staves' size, of the page it was applied onto. It will ignore the "global" stave size set to the score, and you will be able to set a new size for the staves of that score yourself. That's it for now. What do you think?
