Newbie-Take Score and add guitar tab
I have a pdf music score imported into MS3. I have gone to the "instruments" and added a guitar staff and then added a linked staff but the tab always appears blank. I've read other threads, looked and videos and am still stumped. Any help would be appreciated. I added the pdf file below, I have it in the converted format on MS3.

You need to attach the musescore .mscz file.

You didn't add a linked staff. I'll go through the process step by step so you can find where you are going wrong.
Press i (or use the menu) to open the instruments dialog
Select staff 1 under the guitar
Click "Add linked staff"
To the right of "Staff 2" that will be added there is "Standard" in a gray dropdown. Click that and select an appropriate tab staff
Click OK to accept the changes (pressing enter does not default to OK and esc will cancel your changes).
