No Playback

Hi guys,

I am having no luck getting playback from musescore at the momment.

Im using a 2015 mac running catalina.

I have playback from every other aspect of my computer(pro-tools, Spotify, garadgeband) however its worth mentioning, I downloaded Sibelius to see if the problem existed in that program as-well and it does.

To clarify, No sound when inputting notes and no options for playback.

When Ive noticed a few forums saying i need to make adjustments in the mixer and synthesizer tabs but both are greyed out so i cannot access them.

Ive reset the program to factory settings, and ive deleted and re-installed but still no solution.

When i go to i/o preferences within the Port Audio box there are no options under any of the drop down menus.

It may be worth mentioning similar forums for Sibelius recommend accessing the repair and clean up functions in the audio engine section but again this is unavailable to me.

Any help would be much appreciated.
