Adjust volume of groups in MuseScore editor
This would be useful when editing large-scale pieces like Concert Band or Orchestra pieces. Sometimes I want to hear what just the strings sound like, so I have to click a bunch of solo buttons in the mixer, but it would be useful if I could assign groups so I can make the entire group solo or mute with just one click.

I agree. MuseScore doesn't seem to have any other way to do this. Other notation software has a way to select the first measure off each voice you want to hear, hit play, and playback of those parts starts from that point.
You can edit a new part with your group, for exemple , 4 strings, so you can listen this new part alone
