Formatting issues when exporting to video

• Dec 20, 2020 - 03:50

Hi. I know this is probably a musescore.com issue, but I contacted their support email and they sent me to ask here.

The score works fine and looks fine in the musescore.com web player but when it is exported to a video or to the musescore app, the tempo markings and the repeat signs become misaligned.

I already tried resetting the formatting to factory settings and tried several options, but haven't found a way to make it work, unless I set the metronome marking to invisible and intentionally set the repeat markings in the middle of the bar to compensate for the offseting.

I've used the tool in several scores in the past and it used to work well until last week.

I'm attaching pictures of the same score on both platforms for reference. Hope you can help. Thanks!

I doubt you'll find an answer here, however specify which version of MuseScore you use on which operating system and attach the score here.

Hi, I'm still having the same issues, the score you sent me looks good in the web browser, but then gets off when I see it in the app.

I tried another strategy. I uploaded a score that I had already uploaded to musescore.com that is still online and looks and works perfectly. I didn't do any edits to the the one I uploaded today. So in other words, it is the same file I uploaded before, but in todays' upload, the formatting is all broken up.

I guess I'll try to change my Musescore editor version, to see if that does anything, or I'll just resort to recording my screen with the phone to get the videos with some invisible elements in the score.

But, thanks for the help. Hope I can solve this.
