Musecore measure numbers not showing correct number after repeat

In the first measure of the attached musescore file I have a repeat.
This is supposed to repeat 7 times as the text says and also the Measure Properties > "Play Count" settings is set.

However, if I go Format > Style > Measure Numbers and turn this on, that repeated measure only counts at one. Meaning the 8th measure shows up as measure two.

Is it possible to fix this?
