Installing Musescore onto a new Mac and keeping customs
I recently purchased a new M1 MacBook Air and downloaded Musescore onto it. My files are also here within the cloud. MS opens fine and seems to work normally, except faster.
My question is: How do I get all of my custom pallets, templates, etc. onto this machine? Where would they be on my older Mac (10.13.6) and how can I get them onto this one?
Thanks.

Thank you. Fortunately, I still have another version running on another machine that still had the palette. It was easy to save that custom palette and put it on my new Mac, but it wasn't particularly intuitive to install it. Seems one has to open one of the existing palettes first and then load it. It might be nicer if there were a way to do that from the "add palette."
Is there a similar process for templates? I have folders for them that appeared, but the ones I created aren't in any of them.
Thanks.

They are files like any other, transfer them as you would for .doc, .pdf etc.
Open Preferences/General to see the default folders.

Thank you. Fortunately I have enough redundant backups that one contained those folders that were still populated. Seems that when one does a clean install of the installation package, one doesn't always remember to locate the auxiliary folders to go with the virgin version.
Thanks agan.

You're welcome.
In case, consider that from Edit/Preferences/Shortcuts it is possible to save (from the old pc) and load (on the new one).
Buona musica!
