Miscalculation
Well, I was making another sheet and I want the sheet have 20 measures, so I type in 20 in the Measures box, but the sheet have 24 measures in return. I tried again and it returns to me a 21-measure sheet. Can someone please explain???

Which version of MuseScore, which operating system? Can you attach an example (a * .mscz file)?
It may be that MuseScore actually did add to the score the number of measures you called for, but that the assignment of measures to systems (and thus to pages) was automatically redone, so that the added page did not have the number of measures you asked for.

Are you talking about adding measures to an existing score, or creating a new score? In the former case, I'd guess you already had some empty measures you didn't see because they were on another page. In the latter case, I'd guess you simply miscounted, or didn't count the pickup correctly. Either way, if you continue to have trouble, please give us precise step by step instructions to follow see we can understand and assist better.
