It does not appear to be listed in Transifex. It is not listed among the languages via Menu/Help/Resource Manager. It is listed among the languages in Preferences/General
How come?

Sicilianu had been added to MuseScore, but not been enabled on Transifex. Not sure why the latter hasn't been done, or whether and when it will be though. So it got removed from MuseScore's resource manager for the time being, as it cause an issue.

I figured as much, that's the answer I gave as well. Unfortunately it persists among the preferences.

Yes, it hasn't been completely reverted, just the part that caused #311748: Updated translations don't show in MuseScore
