I have to save a score I made no edits to when I open up Musescore.

I recently downloaded the 3.6 version of Musescore and have found an odd problem. I like to keep multiple scores up in the program so I can go back to them quickly and make small adjustments. Now, when I open up musescore on my computer, one of my scores loads up and already has the (*) next to the title, which usually indicates something was edited. I didn't edit anything since I just opened up the program but shrugged it off. I saved it, continued to work on something else, and closed the program. Some time later, I opened the program again, and it did the same thing as before. I again saved it and closed the program. I opened up musescore once more and yet again, the same problem occurred. I decided to X out of the score after I saved it once again and tried to see if the problem would go away if I just loaded it again. Unfortunately it didn't. If someone could help me, I would really appreciate it.

MuseScore 3.6 treats all pre 3.6 scores as imports, it does need to write the changed style into the file, whether it is the new or the old.
