Midi remote control issue
Hi,when assigning midi keyboard keys to 'whole note', 'half note', 'rest', 'tie' etc in "Preferences/Note Input/Midi Remote Control", (and then 'apply' and 'ok)', at first everything works fine, but if I shut Musescore down and reopen it, I have to do it all again. The buttons in the "Preferences/Note Input/Midi Remote Control" are still green, but they don't work anymore. I'm using the step-time way of input, btw. Is this something I can fix?

Do other preferences save OK? Sounds from the description like either MuseScore is not closing successfully and thus cannot write its preferences, or else something else is interfering with this, like trying to run MuseScore as one users when it's installed for another and thus the folder permissions are messed up.

I rebooted my computer and the problem seems to be gone.
