Remove Song from Musescore

• Sep 1, 2014 - 02:40

Hey all,
I'm new to Musescore and I uploaded a few songs. But one I uploaded before I was really finished with it. Is there anyway to take music off the website? I also no desire to get the pro-version of musescore; I'm happy with the flat rate one. The only sticky part is you can only post five songs at a time. So if anyone knows a way to take music off the website for repairs and or to put a different one on, I'd like that know.
Thanks,

I assume you are refering to the score sharing site musescore.com when you refer to "pro" version - the MsueScore software itself is always completely free, no separate "pro" version.

To delete a song from the score sharing site musescore.com, just click the "delete" link that appears when you move your mouse over the score in your list of scores. Or, if you've already clicked on the score and are viewing it, click "Edit this score" and then the "Delete" button at the bottom of the screen.

You don't have to delete the song to update it, though. On that same "Edit this score" screen is an option to replace the score with a new version. And if you upload a brand new score, it automatically pushes aside your oldest visible score, leaving the 5 most recent. So deleting a score should not be needed very often.

Yes, that's what I meant. Sorry, new to this whole thing so I'm not well versed in the ligo. :)
Thanks for the help! I'm gonna fiddle some more with my song "Hungry Rock" and see if I can't make it any better. If I can, I'll try to upload the new version like you said.
Thanks again!
