Note Entry
Hi - I am not a musician but find Musescore good to help me learn pieces to sing with a choir. However I am trying to enter this into a score and have a problem.
If I try and change the 4/4 to allow an extra note the whole score is affected. How can I do this?

No need for propriatary Microsoft Word format, you can attach PNG files directly and even inline:

Oops. that is surprising, looked much smaller in the doc...
Anyway, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/tuplets
Here: 6 (for half note) then Ctrl+3 (for triplet), then replavce the 3 quarter rests with your notes
