Note input of one note results in 2 of them
When I begin a part, every note note repeats twice. For instance an E quarter note becomes 2 quarter notes. This would be a good feature if I needed to repeat notes many times. I think I have unwittingly turned something on and need to turn it off. I have no idea what it is.
I need help. I am in the middle of several projects-- and have been looking through the online manual for a while. I hope someone knows what this is. I don't want to resort to score paper...

Additional information: I don't have this problem if I am entering notes using the QWERTY keyboard. It is just my MIDI keyboard.

You likely have to configure your keyboard so it only sends a single note event. It probably has some kind of layers/chorus function enabled, which makes it send out notes on multiple channels.

Thanks for the reply! I have my wireless Qwerty keyboard sitting across the the buttons on my Yamaha Keyboard. I think you are right, something got turned on. I think I need a better set up. I appreciate your time,

Hurray!!!! I turned my MIDI Keyboard on and off and checked the connections and that seems to have fixed it. I am so relieved. I depend on Musescore so much.
