How to add tab staff for part of score only?

I have an existing lead sheet consisting of a standard-notation vocal line with lyrics and chord symbols. I want to add several measures of four-line ukulele tab at the start for an instrumental introduction. I want to have the tab staff only for the intro, without a vocal line, and vocal line only for the rest of the score, with no tab staff. How do I do this? Thanks.
