Load Error pop-up that reads: " Cannot read file [file location and name]: "
I was trying to open a file I had created earlier today, but said file was apparently corrupted. When I try to open the file I get a Load Error pop-up that reads: " Cannot read file [file location and name]: "
I spent most of my say working on this piece, and I am devastated having lost it all. I have been scouring these forums for help and advice, but no luck.
I have no backup for this file, and it is not saved anywhere else other than the default location. I downloaded and installed Musescore for the first time today. Everything worked perfectly fine. I had saved my piece and closed the program, and then I turned off my PC. When I went to open the file to get some feedback from a friend I was greeted with the error message.
I'm going to have to start again from scratch tomorrow, but can anyone help me salvage any part of my previous progress? Even just a portion would be helpful.

I'm afraid it's a case of #271185: Scores corrupted beyond repair, containing nothing but zeros
Sorry to hear this happened! So, you created the file the same day you did all the work, never closing and reopening it during that time? It's true that in this case, there would be no backup.
But, is this on Windows? Unless you elected to turn off OneDrive when you set up the computer, you should be able to recover a previously-saved version that way. if you did elect to disable OneDrive, this would be a good time to turn it back on; it's really a life-saver.
