Orchestral score: measure numbers below bottom staff

• Mar 11, 2021 - 01:50

Friends,
I am required to submit an orchestral/conductor's score with measure numbers below the bottom staff of each system. I have not been able to figure out how to do it. Is it possible for a multi-stave system? I'm using MS 3.6.2. This requirement is by a well-known orchestra, so it seems to be a common/usual requirement. Also, tempo marks are supposed to be above the top and below the bottom systems. If you create a second tempo mark and drag it below, it only opens the distance between staves. (A workaround would be to create a staff text and make it look like a tempo marking.)
Thanks for any help

For the measure numbers, choose the option to show on all staves, then select all the measure numbers on all other staves (eg, select the range, right-click on any measure number, Select / All Similar Elements in Range Selection) and press "V to make them invisible.

For the tempo, the workaround you mention is the way to do, then make it invisible on the part.

Both of these are known limitations we definitely hope to be able to improve on for MuseScore 4.
