Chord Symbol Playback
I have always used the chord symbol playback function on musescore for arranging assignments that required a sound file, but not even when inspecting the chord symbol i see no option to toggle playback on or off. From my research there should be a way to turn it on in the Preferences, but i don't even see it in there and i have checked maybe 50 times. This is a pretty clean instal on a new computer and ive bever had this issue in the past. Any ideas?

Click on the "Show channels" arrow on the track whose name contains the words "Chord syms." press the "M" button to mute
When you say you are "inspecting" the chord symbol, do you literally mean, using the Inspector within MsueScore? Because that's where the control is. The control is per chord, and also as a style to set the default for the score, and also there are preferences n the advanced tab to set what style default new scores should have.
But it's not clear what you are asking - are you saying you can't find out how to turn playback on for the new install? It should already be on by default, assuming you've installed a recent version (3.6.2 is current). If you mean you are searching for a way to turn it off, then I'm confused by your statement that you've never had any issue in the past - does that mean you successfully turned it off before but don't remember how you did it?
