changing the tempo
I have a score that I created with a tempo of 120. Now that I am involved with it, I want to make a change to 80. I can do this with the play panel, but I find I need to do that each time I open the piece for a new session. How can I alter the original 120 to 80 for the entire score once and for all?

To change the tempo of an existing metronome mark in the score: Click the Tempo mark, open Inspector (F8), set Tempo.

Better yet, just edit the tempo marking itself - if it currently says 120, dobule-click it and change it to 80.
