Flexatone not working

Idk why but when I select the flexatone soundfont it uses the Chimes soundfont instead, how do I fix this?

I'm not sure what "flexatone soundfont" you mean, but if you are referring to the instrument by that name that you can add, it uses the tubular bells sound in the default soundfont MuseScore_General, because that's about as close as the General MIDI standard comes to that sound. If you want something that actually sounds like a flexatone, you'd need to actually install a soundfont that contains such a sound, and tell MuseScore to use it for that instrument in your score. See the Handbook under Sounfonts for more info on that topic.

To be clear: MuseScore comes with one soundfont, MuseScore_General, that contains the set of sounds defined by General MIDI. It's not different soundfonts for every instrument, any more than text uses a different font for every letter :-).
