Useing the MIDI import panel
Hi! I've imported a MIDI file from Logic Pro and encountered an issue with the import. As shown in the MIDI import panel in the picture, the MIDI file contains 7 tracks. However, Muse seem to group them in strange ways, where the second violin and viola are joined in one double stave, and the same for cello and tuba. I want all of my tracks on separate staves, except for the piano that has a base and a trebble stave.
What am I missing?

They are all single staves, just with a brace, which you can delete, and chorten the barlines too.
Maybe due to the fact that they all use the same midi channel?

That's not what it looks like in the Instrument settings, see picture.
I also have very limited options in the "Score Instrument"-tab, where I can only choose between Piano, Grand Piano, Toy Piano and Upright Piano. Can't do anything about "Sound" tab.
I'm suspecting the issue is that by interpreting the tracks as piano tracks, it groups with the next track underneath.

OK, I see.
I guess the MIDI file itself has issues already, woth those identical MIDI channel 4 it assigned to multiple staves and instruments

Oh right ofcourse, I can set the stave type in Logic. Just realized I used to have the same issue when importing to Sibelius.
Thanks for the quick reply!
