Directly entering mandolin Tablature to generate musical notation

I'm writing a book of mandolin tablature.

If I start a new score with a staff for musical notation on top and a staff for mandolin tab below it, is there a way to directly enter the tab and have MuseScore generate the notation above it?

This would be especially helpful for alternate fingerings up the neck, such as a B played on the second string, 14th fret, instead of the first string 7th fret, which is where MuseScore wants to put it when I enter it in notation.

If I could enter the note locations directly into the Tab, I wouldn't have to go back and correct where MuseScore thinks they go.
