Staff problem
I want to divide the trumpet part into three staves, but one of them just has nothing there, no empty whole note or anything.

It's hard to tell from just a picture, but this often means your score has been corrupt. We would need you to attach the actual in order to say for sure, but if MuseScore tells you it is corrupt when you open the file, that's a good (or bad) sign.
