Preferences dialog too tall
I for the first time installed MuseScore in a laptop (I only use it when "on the road", and we have a trip coming up). It has a lower screen resolution than the display on my desktop. It runs Windows 7.
I find that the Preferences dialog is so tall that the OK-Cancel-Apply buttons are hidden below the Windows taskbar. (I can get just a teeny bit of their tops to show if I make the taskbar have only one row of button.)
I found that the Windows window sizing facility will allow me to change the width of this dialog but not its height.
What do I need to know here?
Thanks
Doug

I see now that the dialog is already sized as small (vertically) as it can be, but (at least for its current scale) that is still too high to fit in the available window height above the task bar.

Windows 7 is out of support since more than a year now. Better update to 8.1 or 10, the latter is still possible for free.
Check the display settings, esp the scaling, reduce it.
Or use MuseScore's command line options -D or -x

Hi, Jojo,
I'll try the command line options.
Thanks.
