Creating out of tune instruments

• Apr 24, 2021 - 04:14

I have a "lovely" little piece of an orchestra playing out of tune. I want to leave the flute at pitch, raise the violin by 50%, and raise the bass by 20%. Is there a way to raise a whole instrument line without adjusting each note individually? Hmmm.... Maybe they should be tuned flat. That's more realistic.

Thanks, Wizards. You're the BEST! <3

Thank you, underquark. You're the best! Easy-peasy too!

"Infinite painstaking"; "slightly out of tune..."

Once a flute's mouthpiece is adjusted, it usually stays in tune for the duration of play. I left it at pitch.

Violins go flat with play and have to be tuned regularly during a performance. I set it 1/2 tone low.

Bass violins go flat with play but not as quickly as violins. I set it 1/4 tone low.

Thanks again! <3
