Adding a percussion staff to acoustic guitar
Hey, i was wondering if it was possible to add a percussion staff to acoustic guitar. Im writing guitar part(s) that use the body as a percussive instrument as well, so I tried adding a percussive staff to the guitar but it didn't work for me. Is there a way to do this? The "Custom Percussion" option just turns it into another treble clef 8vb staff.

Add a separate drumset instrument. Notate whatever you want with custom noteheads on the guitar staff but mute those notes. Notate on the drumset for playback effect.
Once notated you can mark the drumset instrument as invisible in the Instruments dialog
