Layout of the page
Hello. I get really confused about the page layout - the spacing of bars within a line, and the spacing of the staves on a page. For example, on the attached you can see that the left hand page is spaced differently from the right hand page. Please can someone direct me to some easy instructions on how to even this out? Many thanks, Rachel

Format/Style->Page->Disable Vertical justification
Add a page break

The reason they are spaced differently is you have way too many staves on the first page and way too few on the second. So, it's up to you to figure out how to balance that out - how many staves you want on the first page versus the second. Then add page breaks as suggested above. The vertical justification setting isn't actually relevant here, it's for spacing staves within a system. And you'd not normally want to disable that - again, being smart about page breaks is the way to get better results.
