Mandolin family Instruments

I transpose a lot of tunes to Mandolin (& Mandola, Mandocello) and find it moderate frustrating that this family does not appear to be supported in Musescore.
I find it useful, for my purposes to use a linked TAB stave. There are work-arounds such as choosing another plucked string instrument and modifying the tab stave properties but it is time consuming and a potential source of errors.
Another annoyance is that, when the pieces are posted on MuseScore they appear as works for the instrument that I originally used to set up with. E.g. a piece I recently posted with Mandolin and Mandola parts showed up as a work for Ukulele and Banjo.
There may be upgrades or plugins that I am not aware of. If not, could consideration be given to include the 8 string, 4 course family into the list of Instruments available.
