How to Save/Open Musescore scores on chromebook?
So, I have Musescore installed on my chromebook, runs great, but once I have made a file, save it, then want to open it again, MuseScore says:
"Cannot read file /home/purplebassmonkey/Documents/MuseScore3/Scores/Taunt:
unknown type"
How can I open files in MuseScore on my Chromebook so I can continue to edit them?
Thanks

Assuming you installed it the supported way (via the AppImage in Linux), then you simply need to be sure to give the file an appropriate filename - MuseScore files need to end in ".mscz". That's normally the default, but if you fiddle with the filename when saving, you need to be sure to keep the ".mscz". You can also go to Edit / Preferences / Advanced and change the setting os the "useNativeDialogs" setting which can on some system can help make sure the default file extension "sticks".

Excellent, un-checking the useNativeDialogs box worked it looks like :)
Still working through some issues (can't open my old scores), but functional enough for now!
Thank you!

What goes wrong when opening the old scores? Can you attach one here?
