Suggestions for color improvements for notes

I'm new to the group, so I don't know if this has been raised before. But I'd like to see a few refinements or alternative in coloring the notes.

(1) Being able to color just the sharp notes (or just the flat notes). And having the option to either color them all the same color; or to select my choice of colors for each different sharp of flat. For example, for the key of D, I might pick green for the C-sharps an blue (or red, or whatever) for the F-sharps. Or be able to make all the sharped notes the same color (C-sharp and F-sharp in green).

(2) Ideally, to be able to background-color the notes (keep the "colored" notes black, but put a little background color box behind the notes). Again, custom coloring would be great. (Yellow for my C-sharps and orange for my F-sharps, or whatever colors I choose.)

(3) Color (or background color) any entire chord, if the chord has one or more sharp/flat notes.

(4) My selected color for only the foundational note (I'm not sure if that's the right technical term) for the key. So if I'm playing in the key of A, I might want to color just the 'A' notes.

(5) For inversions, being able to highlight (color, or background color) the root note of the chord.

Any of these should be possible for a plugin, And that's probably the right solution, as none of these things are inherently part of standard notation but are instead things that individual musicians might wish to do for their own unique reasons.
