How to change the audio output device?

Hello Forum,

I am a newbie.

Versions -
MacOS - 10.15.7
musescore - 3.6.2.548020600 revision 3224f34

I want to use some other audio output devices (e.g. bluetooth earbuds, the headphone jack of a USB mic, etc) along with musescore. I've tried all the options in Preferences > I/O > PortAudio > Device: , but whichever I choose, the sound still come from the computer's internal speaker. I hope the musescore output device respects what is chosen at OS level. Is it possible?

Use the "Restart Audio- and MIDI devices" button in that dialog, or toggle (off and back on) the MIDI button in the toolbar (looks like a 5-pin DIN connector) or start MuseScore after having connected the bluetooh devices
