Increasing Staff Scaling causes displacement between voices
Hello everyone,
I've recently came across the following issue: Separate voices on the staff get displaced when the staff is scaled up in size (from the staff properties tab). As shown in the file, the displacement increases as the scaling increases, but no displacement occurs when the staff is down scaled.
The context that I came across this problem: I've been working on copying a (public domain) piano concerto for producing parts. As Concertos will have the soloist staff bigger than the rest I decided to upscale it which caused this problem. For now I can fix the problem by keeping the solo part at 100% and downscaling all the other instruments, but I figured I'd share the problem nonetheless

Indeed, this is a known issue that happens only when upsizing, so the workaround you mention is exactly right - and really, it's the more "correct" solution anyhow even if in this case it ends up being more work.
See for example #278348: Horizontal position differs from up-stem to down-stem notes when staff is scaled

Thanks for the reply Marc.
