Edit/Instruments menu
I have number of scores with multiple percussion parts, e.g. tambourine, clave, snare drum, kick drum etc. In the Edit/Instruments menu, each staff is simply defined as Percussion.
I would find the menu descriptions more meaningful if they could be edited to reflect the actual instrument Part Name in the score. Is this possible please? And if so, how do I do it?

When you go to: Edit -> Instruments
Though it does show 'Percussion', you do not also see 'Triangle', 'Claves', 'Tambourine'?

Thank you for your comment but it seems you use a different version of Musescore to me. I use this
Taking a sample from one of my scores the percussion instrument array is as shown in the screenshots attached together with the corresponding Edit/Instrument List
In this example the number of staves is few and identifying the instrument is straightforward. But when there is a large battery of percussion instruments it would be more helpful if each stave entry in the Edit/Instrument
List identified the corresponding instrument.
So I should like to be able edit the various entries labelled “Drumset” with the specific instrument name. But I cannot find a means in Musecsore to edit the Edit/Instrument List accordingly?

When you press i do you select the individual instruments available?
OS: Linux Mint 20.1, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.6.2.548021370, revision: 3224f34
(Kick drum->Bass drum)
I assume these scores were not created with MuseScore from scratch? So it should work with right click on each staff->staff properties... and change each staff to the corresponding instrument.

Thanks for all the advice. Shoichi's suggestion prompted recall that in my haste I probably added the various staves using a pre-defined percussion group and got the required sound(s) via the Edit Drumset menu.
I know better, and as suggested should have used the Edit/Instrument search box for the specific percussion instrument(s) instead. Something on reflection I overlooked.
Hopefully now I have been reminded, I will not make that mistake gain.
