ABC notation?
I know, ABC is kind of silly, but one site that I use frequently (thesession.org) to get Irish tunes requires it for submission of new tunes. It's easy to convert from ABC to "real" music, but I can't figure out how to convert one of my Musescore tunes to ABC. Thanks.

It's not silly to me, I've used it quite a bit over the years for various purposes.
There is an excellent MusicXML-to-ABC converter by Wim Vree you can find online, so export your score to MusicXML first then load it into that converter. See https://wim.vree.org/svgParse/xml2abc.html. There may somewhere be an online hosted version of this, not sure.

Sorry I didn't mean to be snarky. I've used it a couple of time in the past to transpose simple tunes.
Many people in the traditional music world use it as a type of notation, reading directly from the ABC which is something I can't fathom. Real notation is far easier but for some reason people are scared of it.
Thanks, I will check out that converter.

Thesession.org is a truly wonderful resource, and a veritable rabbit-hole of lively discussion. It can get quite noisy at times, though they do have a point regarding not relying on "the dots" and learning how to memorize tunes.
@Brewerpaul: Are you a brewer? Any favourite recipes/techniques? (apologies for taking this discussion cross-discipline.) :)
