Why won't the Repeat commands in measures 5 - 8 work?
HI. I am writing a new song, and have encountered a real problem. I've attached the first page of my MuseScore score (named "Drifting-test). I have inserted a starting Repeat bar in measure 5 and and an end repeat bar in measure 8, and it won't repeat. The song plays measures 5-8, simply skips the repeat and moves on to measure 9. Am I doing something wrong, or is this particular score somehow corrupted? Could anyone help me? Thanks in advance.
PS - I encountered the same problem when I downloaded someone else's score. It also had repeat bars that my MuseScore software ignored but played fine on his computer. Do I need to reinstall MuseScore? Is this a fault in my software?

Now ... I know! I must have turned it off at one point, and did not realize I needed the button active. Thanks for helping me.
