Connecting Pedal Hooks
I've been working on a score, and a part of it has you use the pedal, with it lifting every measure. When I input the hooks, however, it leaves these horrid gaps in between each hook. Is there a way I can remove this gap?

1)Click on the first pedal mark. Press shift + right arrow.
2) Click on the second one and repeat step 1, and so...
Make the endpoint of the first the startpoint position of the 2nd.

To be clear: if you've already entiered them that way, then indeed, going back and using Shift+right to extend each is the way to fix it.
in the future, though, better to not add them that way in the first place. be sure to select the entire range you want the pedal to apply to, from the note the "___" aligns with to the note the "___/" aligns with (e.g., in your particular example, the first note of the next measure, although of course in real music, it's seldom that simple, pedal changes often multiple times per measure, or occasionally multiple measures per pedal). So you would wait until the music is actually entered to you can select the proper range before clicking the pedal icon.
