Hide instruments not playing at the moment
Hi
This is my first time using the forum, so I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but I was wondering:
I've seen many orchestral writers have scores where, when some instruments are not playing, their empty bars are not visible, and only the instruments playing at the moment are visible. When the other instruments start playing, then their parts are also visible. How can I do this? Thanks in advance.

There's a score style setting called "Hide empty staves": https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/layout-and-formatting#style-score
Best to only activate it after you've entered your music though, or most of your score will become invisible ;-)
