Japanese Characters not showing

I recently changed my nickname and because of that i wanted to update the name on my scores. After updating one of them, the japanese title (you can see it in the first photo) was replaced by a string of question marks (you can see it in the second photo).
I already tried to update the original file (the one with the old name) but it didn't worked.
Sorry if my english is bad but it's not my first language.
Is there a way to fix this?
