distance between staves
In my score the distance between two staves of the same system is much longer than in the rest of the score. How can I reduce (shrink) the long distance between the staves in the same system?

Probably by fixing the position of whichever element is forcing them so far apart.
If you'd share the score we'd probably be able to tell you which element.
