Change time signature mid-measure
I doubt this is possible, but is there any way to change the time signature in the middle of a given measure? Included is one such example from Un enterrement en carnaval by Gioacchino Rossini.

That is not exactly mid measure, rather there is an 1/8 note pick up (or anacrusis) at the start of the 3/8 section. You would need to set the actual duration of that first measure to 1/8 in measure properties from the right click menu.
There's no mid-measure time signature change. But a pickup measure
