That doesn't delete Voice 2; it deselects Voice 2 from your next action. To delete Voice 2 from a range, tick "All" and then click again to deselect everything then click Voice 2. Now select you range and press [Del] to delete Voice 2 from that range. Remember to reselect "All" to get back to normal editing.
If you want to delete all voice 2 notes, select one of them/ right click/scroll down to select,more/ check "same voice/OK/press Delete.
