Making measures longer or shorter
I have been trying to make measures longer and shorter to match Lyric words. I can't make instructions under common tasks work. Help?

Be certain you have actual lyrics and not regular text.

Assuming you add the lyrics correctly (Ctrl+L), the measures automatically widen as necessary.
