dealing with violin strings
Hi all,
The attached picture shows a system of Ravel's "Quatuor for strings" where violin 2 second bar contains the text "4e corde", i.e. fourth string.
May I integrate that information with MuS "coding" and: does it apply only to the note to which it's connected or does it extend to more consecutive notes?

You can add a staff text, but MuseScore has no built-in function for single-string playback.
However you can use staff text properties to change the playback channel used, and if you happen to find a soundfont that has the playback sound you want, you can use the mixer to assign that sound then to the channel.
