Multiple small pieces with different instrumentation in the same score?

I've been using Musescore to notate small melodic fragments I come up with: typically one line. These are for various instruments: piano, flute, or guitar.

I have been saving each of my short fragments in its own score file, but this is unwieldy and makes it difficult for me to go back and review what I have.

What I'd like to be able to do is to put all of these small melodic fragments in the same score document. I've found section breaks, but it doesn't seem that I can change the instrumentation between sections.

Is it possible to do?

If you're going for something like the screenshot I attached below, there is a way I know of, but depending on the amount of instruments, it could be a little tedious. Firstly, you'll have to add all the instruments in, and it'll look like those ensemble scores, but enter each melody onto its own section, and add a section break after each one. Once all the melodies are in, you'll have to right click the staff, click staff/part properties, then set "hide when empty" to "always". Repeat this previous step for every staff.
