Not sure what you mean abiout changes synths, MuseScore only has its own built in ones (Fluid for SF2/SF3 soundfonts, Zerberus for SFZ), but you can load different soundfonts into them. See the Handbook under Soundfonts to learn more. VST is not supported currently, but should be coming with MsueScore 4.
