Can't open corrupt Musescore file. HELP

Hi, I was trying to open a score that 've been working on recently but it says that musescore is unable to read it. Would anyone know how to fix this?

I'm also unable to find my autosave score folder despite following the instructions given by the musescore website.

Unfortunately there is nothing to fix, because the file is almost empty.

The error message is:
Fatal error: line 2 column 11 No definition for element container available.

and the contents of the file are:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<container>
  <rootfiles>
    <rootfile full-path="corrupt.mscx">
      </rootfile>
    </rootfiles>
  </container>
